‘Seedling Sower’: Project-based learning self-paced 1.0 Design Certificate Course

This blended training will help give your teachers the confidence to begin embed project- based experiences within their curriculum at your school. 

Who is this good for?

It’s perfect for schools with tight curricular requirements, looking for ways to integrate standards and skills into high-quality active, student-centered experiences. It includes a an in-person or immersive online training with videos, project examples and guides for teachers to complete at their own pace; and finally project reviews conducted by expert PBL facilitators.

‘Budding Builder’: Project-Based Learning 1.5
INTERMEDIATE TRAINING

This training is designed for those who have already started PBL but want to improve practice, scale and integrate it more fluidly in their school. 

Who is this good for?

TEC works with small teams of teachers/ teacher leaders in an in-person or virtual setting to help teachers develop the skills and mindsets that make for the most effective design and delivery of student-centered experiences. Through personalized instructional coaching with a group of fellow practitioners, teachers learn strategies to manage student groups; deepen student inquiry; create systems for feedback and reflection; and grow and develop self- directed learners. The training includes digital badges and certificates for PD hours.

‘Flourishing Facilitator: Building Student-Centered Environments 2.0 12 shifts Master Class

This blended coaching program is designed to support agentic practitioners in making the 12 shifts necessary for fully agentic, student-centered environments.   

Who is this good for?

This is perfect for coordinators, teacher/team leaders, Curriculum Leads, and instructional coaches. Through three instructional coaching cycles, participants first identify focus areas and set goals for implementation; second, learn strategies from the TEC team and with a a global community of practitioners; implement shifts in their classrooms; and reflect on the IMPACT it had on student learning and agency. 

Project-Based Learning
CUSTOM BUILD

Every school has its unique needs and context with PBL and developing learner-centered experiences and environments. ‘Custom Build’ is for  personalised training around these needs. We have worked with schools to adapt curriculum, build assessments, create PBL handbooks, modify schedules, deliver presentations to key stakeholders, and more. We work with teachers and teacher leaders in trainings and workshops to develop capacity to deliver innovative experiences and deepen student learning.

Finally, we help you implement targeted strategies with students to deepen their learning and create meaningful learning experiences.
